Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup of extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup of lime juice
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 tbsp of honey
  • 2 tbsp of low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of Sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 2 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • ¼ cup of freshly chopped cilantro (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, if you are making use of wooden skewers, you need to make sure that you soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  • Afterward, you are to get a medium bowl and then get the following ingredients: olive oil, garlic, lime juice, honey, chili sauce, and soy sauce. Then, proceed to mix them all in the medium bowl.
  • You are to then set aside ¼ cup marinade as this will be used to brush the shrimp while grilling.
  • Then, you can now toss the shrimp with the remaining marinade into a large bowl. Afterward, you are to warm up the grill or grill pan.
  • Put the shrimp on the skewers. Then, grill the shrimp until they become pink and opaque. And, you have to make sure you grill each side of the shrimp for about 3 minutes.
  • Then, proceed to brush the shrimp with the ¼ cup marinade you set aside earlier. And, the brushing should be done before and after each turnover.
  • Afterward, you can proceed to garnish your grilled shrimp with cilantro and then serve it with lime wedges while it is still hot. Enjoy.
