Ingredients

  • 3 lb Chuck Roast
  • 1 recipe of Beef Rub
  • 1 C. BBQ Dressing
  • 1½ Tablespoon of Brown Sugar
  • 1½ Tablespoon of Honey

Instructions

  • The first thing you need to do is to get the smoker ready to about 250 degrees Fahrenheit which is the instruction of the manufacturer.
  • You then need to put aside ½ tablespoon of beef rub. Coat the chuck roast with beef rub and this should be done lavishly although this doesn’t mean you have to use all the beef rub. After this, you put it on the warmed-up smoker that’s at 250 degrees Fahrenheit and then close its lids.
  • The smoking of this should be left to happen for around 4 hours to 5 hours or when the internal temperature of the smoker gets to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • You can then take it out of the smoker and leave it to get cool and this should take around 10 minutes to 15 minutes.
  • The next thing you need to do is to get the BBQ dressing ready while you let the roast cool off and you need to mix the BBQ dressing, brown sugar, and honey.
  • And, the mixing can be done in a bowl and do the stirring thoroughly to get everything mixed when you then have to place somewhere till you’ll be needing it.
  • Cutting the roast into 1 × 1 cubes will be your next step which you will put into a foil pan, pour the BBQ dressing, and the addition of ½ Tablespoon of beef rub on top of the roast and mix thoroughly till everything gets well-mixed is the next thing you need to do. And, afterward, you can cover it with aluminum foil.
  • After covering it with aluminum foil, afterward, you need to put it back on the smoker which will still be at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for around 1 hour to 1 ½ hour or till the cubs are soft and juicy which you need to pull out and serve instantly.
